Alto Gusto

We’ve driven past Alto Gusto a few times & finally decided to try it tonight, the food was absolutely amazing! Everything we ordered was cooked perfectly & the staff were really lovely too. We sat on the tables out the front in the sunshine was gorgeous! Will definitely be returning soon, thank you:)

Independent Italian restaurant in Gravesend,Kent. Pleasant surroundings and comfortable seating. I found my food both tasty and authentic. A lovely hand stretched "Napoli" pizza with Anchovies and capers creating a great taste combination. The restaurant exceeded my expectations and I would gladly return.

We were exploring Gravesend and decided to try this restaurant. Lovely calm and peaceful atmosphere. Warm decor. Music not too loud which was very ideal. A lovely background music added to the chilled vibe. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and kind. Attentive yet not intrusive. Nice balance, to check you have everything you need and yet they gave you time and space to enjoy the dining experience. The food was very good. Can't get more authentic Italian pizza's here! Highly recommend! The pizza base was ideal, not too hard to cut through unlike some pizza establishments. Just enough bite, not too thick or thin. We ordered a garlic mushroom to share for sides. Very fragrant and a good balance of seasoning. Just. The pizza came out lovely and hot, perfect! Fresh ingredients and I really enjoyed the aubergines on the pizza. I had the vegetarian pizza and my husband had the pepperoni pizza I will definitely visit again, but next time with my family and friends to enjoy together. Menus presented were clean, clean crisp table linen and clean utensil. Not sticky or dirty. Drinks served in glasses were nice and clean too. No dirty residue from washing. I personally found the price to be very reasonable. Decent portion size, friendly and helpful staff and overall the experience has been very pleasant indeed. Thank you so much for a lovely dinning experience.

It was our first visit to this beautiful restaurant this weekend and it certainly won't be our last. The staff and service was fantastic from the moment we all arrived and the food tasted delicious, please don't hesitate to visit this hidden gem you won't be disappointed. We have already reserved a table for a return visit in December.

Today was our first visit to Alto Gusto for a late lunch - we were so impressed with the delicious food, great service and value for money. Everything was cooked to perfection and came in good portion sizes. Our waitress was excellent - friendly and attentive. Highly recommend this lovely restaurant.

We have now been to Alto Gusto twice and we have been blown away with the food and service. A special mention to Serge. He is the most attentive, warm and welcoming waiter with extensive knowledge of the fantastic menu. I could not recommend this restaurant enough! Rome, who?

Very nice Italian restaurant. The food is great, the staffs are very friendly. I've been there a couple of times with family. Highly recommended.

Great restaurant, service & meal. Easy to book online on Google as well as modify the time (as we were running a bit late). My partner and I came here for a birthday meal and wer3 pleasantly surprised about how delicious the food was. Starters were great, especially the prawns - they came in a beautiful sauce. The wine selection was great and well described on the menu. We had lasagna and the seafood Linguini and both were amazing. I would definitely recommend and we'll be coming back often in the future.
